System¶

The System module helps teams of different sizes share resources and collaborate efficiently. It includes Organization, SSH Key, and API Key management. Centralized administration, billing, access control, authentication, and key management help teams use GPU resources efficiently and securely.

Organization¶

Overview¶

Organizations support resource management, billing, and collaboration among multiple members. An organization is similar to a team, with more comprehensive access permissions, controls, and resource sharing mechanisms to meet the needs of large teams and enterprises. This section explains how to create and manage organizations, add members, assign roles, and use GPU resources efficiently in a shared environment.

Create an Organization¶

To create an organization in the platform portal:

• Sign in to your platform account (with a tenant provisioned on the Bare Metal platform).
• Click your avatar in the upper-right corner and select Organizations from the menu.
• Click Create Organization.
• Enter the organization name and related information.
• Click Create. You will be redirected to the organization management page, where you can add members and manage resources.

Invite Members¶

In the left menu, open System → Organization → Add Member, then:

• Enter the new member's email address.
• Assign a role, such as Admin or Member.
• Enter the required details, including nickname, initial password, and phone number.
• Confirm to add the member. After accepting the invitation, the member receives access according to the assigned role.

Roles and Permissions¶

Organizations provide three predefined roles for managing access and permissions:

Manage Organization Resources¶

Shared resources. Resources created within an organization, such as instances, storage, and networks, can be shared according to member roles. This improves collaboration and avoids duplicate configuration. Administrators and members can create, monitor, and manage instances or datasets; other members can access them according to their permissions.

Resource groups. Administrators can organize resources into groups to manage access and control costs. For example, separate resource groups for different projects or departments make it easier to monitor usage and allocate GPU resources efficiently.

Billing and Cost Management¶

• Centralized billing: All charges for organization resources are consolidated into a single account, simplifying cost tracking and providing visibility into GPU usage across the organization. Administrators can view detailed billing reports and monitor spending on the organization's Billing tab.
• Cost allocation tags: Add Cost Allocation Tags to resources to break down bills by project or department for detailed cost accounting.
• Operation logs: Track resource creation, member management, billing changes, and other organization activities. Filter by operation type, time, and member for audits and activity reviews.

SSH Key Management¶

SSH Keys provide secure, passwordless authentication for remotely accessing GPU Pods over SSH and performing command-line operations and maintenance. On System → SSH Key, users can create (Create SSH Key), search, edit (Edit), and delete (Remove) SSH keys. The list displays the key name, creation time, public key content, and description.

API Key Management¶

API Keys authenticate Playground Chat interactions to keep API access secure and authorized. The API Key list displays key content, token quota (Tokens), and expiration (Expiration Date), with refresh and delete actions. Create and manage keys at Cloud Portal → Settings → API Token.

Summary¶

By unifying organization, key, and centralized billing management, the System module provides resource sharing, access control, and auditing for team collaboration. It is the foundation for using the platform with multiple members.
